policies

Our policies summarize the virtues and principles that guide our actions in the delivery of health care. We expect our agents, consultants, contractors, representatives, and suppliers to be guided by them as well. Any questions you may have regarding this policy or the Compliance Programs can be addressed by the corporate compliance officer.

AMERIMED EMS COMPLIANCE PROGRAM

AEMS has a Corporate Compliance Program to support AEMS’s commitment to the provision of health care services in full compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and to set forth AEMS’s Compliance Program for proactively preventing, detecting, and reporting violations of the laws and regulations which govern this organization and the services we provide. The guiding principles for the provision of those services are summarized in this policy. The Compliance Program describes the mechanism by which management exercises due diligence in seeking to prevent and detect any behavior contrary to those principles. Perhaps most important, it supports the existence of a corporate culture that places the highest value on integrity in the achievement of its mission.

Amerimed EMS is committed to ensure associates are receiving the highest level of medical and professional education possible. To achieve this goal, Amerimed EMS provides:

Monthly electronic or in-person training topics for all associates
A leadership training program for those associates who want to progress to management positions
Postings of outside opportunities on company bulletin boards and memo books
A partnership with Gwinnett Technical College to provide opportunities for associates to continue their education at a quality institution. Every effort is made to provide ongoing education opportunities, however, each associate is responsible for maintenance of their certification.
